Connect with control.

Tideline helps authorized users connect a TikTok account, prepare a post, choose supported delivery settings, and revoke access when they are done.

User guide · Updated August 15, 2026

Tideline is an independent product. TikTok is a trademark of its owner. Availability depends on TikTok approval, account eligibility, API availability, and regional or platform restrictions. We do not claim TikTok certification or endorsement.

Connect TikTok

  1. Open Tideline’s connected-accounts area and choose Add account, then TikTok.
  2. Your browser opens the authorization flow. Review the identity and permissions shown by TikTok. Only continue if the account and requested access are correct.
  3. Approve or cancel in TikTok. The OAuth response returns through oauth.tideline.club to Outstand, our publishing integration provider, to complete the connection.
  4. Return to Tideline and refresh or finish the connection flow. The TikTok account appears with its display name and connection status when successful.

What happens during authorization

The Tideline callback proxy only forwards allowed OAuth response fields to a fixed Outstand endpoint. It is not an open redirect, does not exchange the authorization code, and is configured not to log codes or tokens. Outstand handles the provider connection. Tideline stores non-secret account metadata and provider identifiers needed to display and use the connected account.

Publish or upload

  1. In the composer, add a supported video or image content type and select the connected TikTok account.
  2. Choose a delivery mode where available. Direct Post asks the integration to publish after TikTok processing. Media Upload sends a draft for you to review and finish in the TikTok app.
  3. Review available controls such as privacy level and whether comments, Duet, or Stitch are disabled. Options depend on the account and content type.
  4. Publish now or select a schedule. Tideline displays submission and delivery status, but TikTok moderation and processing determine final availability.

Do not assume a successful upload means a post is publicly visible. Check the status in Tideline and the final result in TikTok. You remain responsible for the content, account selection, disclosures, music rights, privacy setting, and compliance with TikTok rules.

Revoke or disconnect

  1. Disconnect or delete the TikTok connection from Tideline’s connected-accounts area.
  2. For platform-side revocation, use TikTok’s settings to remove Tideline or the displayed publishing integration from apps/services with account access.
  3. Confirm that the account no longer appears as connected in Tideline. Contact privacy@tideline.club if you also want associated Tideline records deleted.

Revocation stops future access; it does not remove posts already published. Manage or delete those posts in TikTok.

Data and providers

Tideline uses Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and server functions; Outstand for social connection and publishing operations; TikTok for authorization, upload, publication, and platform data; and Cloudflare for this website and callback routing.
